SINOPSE

O espectáculo de Videomapping, Música e Teatro, Cinco séculos, 50 anos: uma evocação da Universidade de Évora, resulta do desenvolvimento de um projecto transdisciplinar, envolvendo diversas áreas científicas da Universidade de Évora, como História, Património, Arquitetura, Artes visuais e Design, Música, Teatro, Multimédia, Línguas e Literaturas, contando com o envolvimento de estudantes, docentes e não docentes.

A sua metodologia inovadora, agregando performance artística, tecnologia de videomapping, som e luz, resultou num espectáculo pioneiro em Évora, com um número reduzido de precedentes no nosso país, de que neste evento se lançará o registo videográfico.

O espectáculo evoca momentos-chave da história da Universidade de Évora, num ano em que se comemoram os 50 anos da refundação dessa instituição enquanto Instituto Universitário de Évora, bem como os 45 anos da reactivação da designação Universidade de Évora. Integra-se no programa comemorativo destas efemérides e no Projecto Viver e Re-Viver Évora, financiado pela Direcção-Geral do Ensino Superior em 2023. A produção é da Universidade de Évora e da Olho de Boi.

Nesta ocasião, integrada no âmbito das actividades da EUGreen, pretende-se reflectir sobre os princípios orientadores e resultados do processo de trabalho que conduziu à realização de um projecto transdisciplinar e sustentável.

SYNOPSIS

The Video Mapping, Music, and Theatre show, Five Centuries, 50 Years: a Remembrance of the University of Évora, is the result of the development of a transdisciplinary project involving various scientific fields from the University of Évora, such as History, Heritage, Architecture, Visual Arts and Design, Music, Theatre, Multimedia, Languages, and Literature, with the participation of students, faculty, and non-teaching staff.

Its innovative methodology, combining artistic performance, video mapping technology, sound, and light, resulted in a pioneering show in Évora, with few precedents in our country. A videographic record of this event will now be released.

The show evokes key moments in the history of the University of Évora, in a year that marks the 50th anniversary of the institution's reestablishment as the Évora Universitary Institute, as well as the 45th anniversary of the reactivation of the original designation. It is part of the commemorative programme for these anniversaries and the Viver e Re-Viver Évora Project, funded by the Directorate-General for Higher Education in 2023. The production is by the University of Évora and Olho de Boi.

On this occasion, integrated into the activities of EUGreen, the aim is to reflect on the guiding principles and outcomes of the work process that led to the realisation of a transdisciplinary and sustainable project.
