Resumo : This presentation is about the title sequence design done by Saul Bass for movies such as "Psycho" and "North By Northwest" by Alfred Hitchcock. According to Bass, the function of the title sequence is to set mood and the prime underlying core of the film's story, to express the story in some metaphorical way. A brief introduction about the nature of Saul Bass's work will be presented, in addition to presenting the intended titles and analyzing their concepts, visuals, typography, motion in accordance to the content of the films.
